My career in three words: music and code

For fifteen years, I have had great opportunities to create database-driven web sites, software applications, and of course music. What I most enjoy is creating things. That is why a quick glance at my C.V. will reveal that I have one degree in technology and one in music. This is not anomalous among programmers; while studying computer science at IUPUI (Indiana University, Purdue University, Indianapolis), I took note that every professor in the computer science department also played a musical instrument and was encouraged by that statistic.

I see web applications programming as yet another field in which creativity is of utmost importance. I want to be part of an organization that creates web applications that draw-in users, creates eye-catching and functional Internet presences for companies and individuals which will become destinations for customers, social media, and perhaps gamers.

The reason I love programming can be summed up with one experience: Using the Python programming language on my Linux laptop, I created a very small, very simple computer game for my three-year-old son. It was one of the proudest moments in my career when I realized that my son' s first favourite computer game is one that I created.
